Now that we've found love, what are we gonna doooooo...





What hooked me with this 70s era vintage skirt was the bright royal blue....just so pungent in color!  Then, this colorful silk blouse is something I had been watching for a couple of months.  I'm wearing it backwards as I really am not crazy about something so high on my neck.  Let's face it, this blouse is LOUD with color!  But that's what I love about it!  It's so bright that it seems to just absorb light and draw it to my face.

I would encourage anyone who is a bit timid when it comes to color, to experiment with bright hues on top.  It's color that highlights the face and spotlights it!  Two years ago, I was TERRIFIED of color.  I could certainly make a wardrobe if I had to, out of my beloved black and white.  But now that I've found color, I just don' think I could ever give it up!  Try it!  If you don't feel like yourself, then try a different color.  But at least give it a shot incorporating color into your personal style.  You'll be AMAZED!

    This outfit is so much fun!! I love the vibrant color...I have learned in my, well, seasoned years that I look so much better in deep, saturated, vibrant color. You pull this off beautifully and would make anyone you meet smile big right back at ya!!

    I usually don't feel 'right' in super brights for some weird reason, but you look terrific!!!!
    I do best with more saturated color, or pastels.
    maybe I should give it another go?
    If I look as good as you do, I'm on board!

    I'm more like Retro Reva - I have preferred the more muted tones because I have very low-contrast coloring. But YOU look amazing in these bright pieces. And how cool to turn the blouse around! xoxoxo - Patti

    yes i need to see more of your posts to remind myself to experiment more with colors. I am a back and white or sepia TV. After I do a bit of colors I will still retreat to neutral. Haha. But your outfit is stunning, the colors are so bright and cheery.

    The blue is so beautiful and the blouse is perfect with the skirt. You radiate. I love experimenting with different colors, shades, and tones. Why exclude possibilities.
