What's beautiful today? Vintage Monet Ads

When I was a little girl, I'd LOVED to peruse fashion magazines, imagining that I would grow up to be a woman as sophisticated as the ones pictured.  The Monet ads were always sooooo enchanting!  I love how the jewelry highlights the women's faces not necessarily the jewelry itself.  The make up, the stylying:  Pure femininity and glamour!

    Wanna know something interesting? When looking at these ad, and they are gorgeous aren't they? They remind me of YOU! The same real life yet sumptuous beauty greets my eyes.
    The same vibe of dream inside the pinch. I'm not sure if they've influenced you, or if they were but a reflection of your own lovely self that you recognized staring back at you from the pages of the magazine.

    Oh Bella....that's one of the sweetest things ever said to me! I've always been intrigued by sophistication and glamour. I think I came out of the womb wanting to be a "grown up"! You absolutely made my day!! And even though, I don't see any of myself in those photos, it thrills me to no end that you do! Much love girly!!!

    I agree with both Bella and Pam. Your look is the today's equivalent of the women in those ads. I think it's your glamorous hair and beautiful eyes. And I would love to find any of those necklaces to wear.

    Serene I love the Monet ads! Aaaaaahhhhhh! So much beauty, I never got the grunge phase in the 90s when I was a young person because I could only remember how beautiful and chic the women in the 80s looked from all my reading of my mother's magazines when I was a kid.
