Looking at these pictures has me thinking I might need to wear more makeup....hmmmm... I really do apply it in the morning, but you'd never know from these pictures! Also, when the weather gets hot, the hair goes up.....I just can't stand that furry feeling with my hair hanging down my back. And around here, it gets REALLY hot! As Paula Deen would say, "Have a great weekend, YA'LL!" I'm hittin the road with Sweet Baby!
Very pretty looks, Serene! I love how you hack the sleeves off --that blue dress is especially WOW without sleeves.
ReplyDeleteHave a great trip xoxo -Patti
I love your outfits. The necklace in the last picture is WOW. Very Creative.
ReplyDeleteYou look fabulous in HOT PINK! It is one of your best colors!! We have already hit 100 degrees..it's very early for that, but if that is how its gonna be this summer...I will not be outside with you that much!!
ReplyDeleteHey Cutie--some pretty smart outfits there. love the length on the shorts--perfect. Am looking for a pair this season! Love PAUla
ReplyDeleteSerene,
ReplyDeleteYou don't need more make up. For the first time I quit wearing foundation.
We were in Florida and it was so humid. So I just quit. I use a little loose powder and concealer under my eyes. I can't believe how much better my skin looks.....Oh, blah, blah, blah. I'll quit talking now.
Your outfits are always so cute. Hot Pink mama!
I feel the same way about my pictures - I actually didn't wear lipstick more than a couple times a year until I started blogging and realized my lips were the same color as my face. Now I put some on before most every shot.
ReplyDeleteLove the hot pink blouse in the first photo. And love that you took the arms off - I'm trying to do that with a couple thrifted pieces and I hope mine turn out as well. I too would like to be feared by sleeves everywhere. ;-)
I am going to have to try the Texas Chainsaw approach to sleeves. I know a lot of older women stop going sleeveless because of their "wings." My "wings" have been slow to develop...although I am not complaining. I'm also thinking that I need to try wedges with cargos...
ReplyDeleteAhhhhhhhhhhhh, Serene I have fallen in love with your beautiful blue dress.
