Just a FABULOUS 70s Dress!


Dress: Vintage Thrifted, Shoes:  BCBG Thrifted, Bracelets:  Vintage Thrfited





I'm such a fan of dresses!  When I came across this one on Friday, I couldn't believe my luck!  It sports the reds, pinks and blacks....my favorite colors AND a FABULOUS print....which I'm ALWAYS a sucker for.

Now the thing about a catchy print is that it demands to perform solo.  I honestly think anyone can wear a statement print, regardless of body type or height or age or any other factors.  But some things to keep in mind are:


  • keep accessories to a minimum
  • wear a simple shoe (preferably with height)
  • own it!
And owning it is probably the most important advice.  But that goes with most looks, wouldn't you say?

Since I couldn't decide if I should sell this in my eBay store or keep it for myself; I decided to list it and if it sells, I'll take it as a sign that I was merely a temporary girlfriend and not a soul mate.  So if you're interested, it'll be in my store this week.

    I love the cinematograph (sp!). You're right that the dress has plenty of detail all by its lonessome. You've done a great job of keeping the styling simple.

    I love how you animated the breeze! Is that dress red white and blue. It screams 70's. Whenever I see that color combination the memories just come flooding back. I have yet found just the right piece to add to my wardrobe yet, maybe in May!

      Hi Joni! The dress is red, white, pink and black. And I know what you mean, it really is soooooo 70s! I love that about it! Keep thrifting and I PROMISE you'll find exactly what you're looking for.....you'll also find tons of things that you had no idea are exactly what you're looking for! :)

      Thanks Beryl! I do tend to define my waist. I have such broad shoulders and hips that it's not always a good look for me to wear big and loose. But I'm going to HAVE to for the summer....just gets too hot!
