I just had to smile...the colors are wonderful...I use to have the big hair...I was often told it was a Texas thing!! I kind of miss it and kind of don't. Have a wonderful Saturday, Serene!
What a wonderful time that was to be young. The colors are wonderful in the outfit. I always wanted big hair, but no matter how much I try to tease it, the teasing will not stay in.
My first visit to Texas was Heavenly since it was the only time in my life nobody stared at my hair. Big hair is not a West Coast thing and my curls never would stay flat. That Pucci type print is awesome.
Aaaahhhhh!!! Those were the days....sometimes. :-) I have been obsessed with a book I just bought by Amanda Brooks called I Love Your Style-How to Define and Refine Your personal style. It is an incredible book, with lots of old pictures as well as new. This picture of Marissa could easily have been included. Check out the book though. It's the best I've seen in a long time, and as an elegant bohemian, I think you'll love it!!

DeleteLove this picture!! Reminds me of reading fashion mags when I was in my early 20's and *wishing* I could have Great Big Hair : >
ReplyDeleteI can see a version of this on you! Rock on 70's lady!

ReplyDeleteLove the outfit but not the big hair. Reminds me of the way I looked in the 80's. Ha!

ReplyDeleteOh yes is one of my favorite eras! What I wouldn't give for some long lovely piece like that in some off the wall bright print...
