Sweater: Vintage Thrifted; Pants: JCrew; Boots: had a long time, can't remember where I got them. |
This sweater is one of my most recent vintage finds. Naturally, I was drawn to the black and white aspect of it; but when I tried it on, it was the graphic design that made me refuse to leave the store without it! I've worn in about 3 times in the past couple of weeks!
You look beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteYou do look beautiful! This sweater reminds me of some B& W graphic design spring fashion spreads I have seen lately..it is very close to a current trend look!!
ReplyDeleteHey if you have any vintage decoration ideas for centerpieces at a wedding reception...please send them my way!!
Great sweater. And vintage are my favorite clothes. Our tastes are similar.
ReplyDeleteInteresting sweater! Yesterday, I watched a young woman walk out of Goodwill with a tea length hot pink lace...all vintage and I knew it would be her Valentine's dress. I've found I've purchased a couple of vintage items I wouldn't have looked twice at before blogging.
ReplyDeleteThat is one very cool sweater! I never got into thrifting because there are no facilities where I live, but I do love hand-me-downs from past generations :)
ReplyDeleteThat sweater is so freakin' rad. I can see why you've been wearing it so much!
ReplyDeleteWobi...Thanks!
ReplyDeletePam....I'll have to think on the vintage decorations..the biggest thing that comes to mind is Victorian ephemera...I love just about anything Victorian.
Shy....I agree...I think we share similar tastes! Great minds and all that! LOL
Terri...looking at other blogs is so inspiring...makes me look at some things a little differently and I am so glad! I don't just have what everyone else is wearing to choose from!
Leia....I definitely enjoy some wonderful hand me downs. Your clothes, however, with their drapiness and feminine aura...they're FABULOUS!
Bella.....You are the QUEEN of vintage!
Wowwwwwwwwwwww talking about beautiful jumpers...Don´t you look stunning?????
ReplyDeleteYou Spanish is coming along really well my dear frien.

ReplyDeleteLooks so cozy and fun! I now equate you with sleek black and white and cool combinations of those colors!
ReplyDeleteI think you look lovely Serene! It is a very striking sweater, I love how bold it is!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's day my dear! Hope it's filled with love and laughter for you!
I love this sweater so much and the color is lovely on you. I also enjoyed reading about how you found vintage again.
ReplyDeleteThrifting is sort of ethical because you give a cloth a second chance and not just throw away!
ReplyDeleteLove the dolman sleeves! Reminds me of a dress I had back in the 70's.
ReplyDeleteSecond hand/vintage/re-thrifted; its all works for me~
love paula
You look incredibly beautiful Serene - your name describes you perfectly and I'm so happy that you've discovered and embraced the joys of thrifting to extend your own closet:). xo
ReplyDeleteI found your blog through The Citizen Rosebud and I couldn't agree with you more. These days I don't look for "new" when thrifting, I look for unique and original pieces!
ReplyDeleteNice find! It looks very cuddly.
