Loren, that is. I just LOVE her! When I put on this dress with the little black ballet flats, I felt just like a 50's/60's screen siren. All girlies need to feel like that sometime.
I got this dress at a Coldwater Creek outlet store in FL. I usually don't shop CC that often, but killing some time I found this dress and fell in love with the color. It was actually about 5" longer, came almost to my ankles. I wore it like that a couple of times and just felt too Laura Ingals circa 1876. I felt like I should have a bonnet on! So I asked a fabulous seamstress friend of mine to take it to my knee and now I've fallen in love all over again. Sometimes it just takes a bit of a tweak to make something go from "myeh?" to "WOW"! It came with a matching fabric belt that was just uninspiring. Now, looking at these pictures, I'm trying to think of some different ways to wear something this colorful and I've got a few things up my sleeve. I'll have to play with it and see how I like the results. I'm thinking opened up and belted? Under another skirt? Hmmmmmm.....
