My Uniform

I could absolutely make a uniform out of black and white. It's just so elegant and clean! This is a fun outfit to wear. It really brings me back to my aesthetic, elegant, not too much going on and definitely feminine.

Actually, this dress is sleeveless, but it was a bit nippy on Sunday morning so I threw on a sweater. Sweet Baby (ie... my husband)said that he actually liked it better without the sweater. So I just kind of played around with it and started to tie it. Then, I got the idea to just cross it over and tuck it into the belt. I do love inspired ideas. Also, when I got this dress, it had alot of beading on the bodice. All that beading really isn't me, so I seamripped it out and it's poifect now!

Dress...... thrifted ($5)

Belt......Calvin Klein via TJ Maxx ($5?)

Sweater.......Liz Claiborne ($9?)

Shoes.......Naturalizer via thrifted ($3.50)

In honor of John Lennon, who shares my birthday.
